The individual will work closely with R&D, applications engineering, product marketing, and external partners to translate customer needs into scalable solutions, ensuring competitive differentiation in areas such as biomedical, environmental, and industrial sensing. They will be accountable for system architecture definition, performance optimization, and technology roadmap alignment while also owning business outcomes including market positioning, revenue growth, and customer engagement. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as the role requires influencing both internal teams and external customers to successfully bring ISFET innovations from concept to market.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and own the business strategy and P&L roadmap for ISFET-based solutions.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify unmet needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in ISFET and electrochemical sensing applications.
  • Identify high-value medical and industrial markets
  • Analyze target markets to determine market size, growth potential, and key customer segments.

  • Develop TAM/SAM/SOM analysis, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
  • Drive design wins, partnerships, and ecosystem development.
  • Develop product requirements documents and system specifications.
  • Build and maintain a technology roadmap aligned with market needs and business goals.
  • Participate in industry conferences and trade shows to promote products and build relationships.
  • Bridge R&D and productization, ensuring scalable and manufacturable solutions.
  • Define reference designs, evaluation kits, and application platforms.
  • Drive time-to-market execution in partnership with design and operations teams.
  • Act as the primary technical and business interface for key customers and partners.
  • Gather and translate voice-of-customer into actionable product features.
  • Support strategic accounts and enable customer adoption at system level.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Strong understanding of:
    • Sensor systems and analog front-end design
    • Electrochemical sensing fundamentals (ISFET preferred)
    • System-level trade-offs (noise, drift, calibration)
  • Experience owning or influencing product strategy, roadmap, or P&L.
  • Proven track record of bringing products from concept to market success.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Direct experience with ISFET, biosensors, or chemical sensing technologies.
  • Background in industrial, medical, or environmental sensing markets.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles (applications, marketing, or business development).
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
