Your responsibilities will include:
- Development and optimization of process/recipe settings for semiconductor manufacturing processes for new technologies, technology transfers, and to improve quality, throughput, or cost reduction
- Driving projects to further automate manufacturing processes
- Development and implementation of strategies and methods to control and improve process monitoring to enable early detection of process or equipment anomalies and to ensure high and stable quality in production processes
- Identifying systematic problems in process or equipment-related sources and continuously communicating findings to the engineering team
- Participating in and driving data analysis and problem-solving together with your colleagues
- Supporting manufacturing ramp-up by performing equipment/process startups and process experiments (SWRs)
- Conducting lot and equipment dispositions to support continuous production flow and minimize lead times in a high-volume 200mm wafer fab with analog technologies
Minimum requirements:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- German language skills: C1
Preferred qualifications:
- Proven experience with at least one programming language
- Semiconductor physics basics are beneficial
- Proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and effectively collaborate with people in different functions
- Strong time management skills that enable timely project delivery
- Proven ability to build strong, influential relationships
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Ability to take initiative and act results-oriented
