Team Manager, Content Operations

This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the team, including work direction, performance management, resource planning, and ensuring quality, productivity, and service targets are consistently achieved. The position also drives process improvement, develops and retains talent, and partners with cross-functional leaders to enhance operational effectiveness and support organizational goals.

In this opportunity as a Team Manager, Content Operations, you will support:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the teams including overall team direction, performance, work migrations and assignments.
  • Provides functional, operational, or product expertise to department.
  • Provides comprehensive reports on performance, productivity, quality, timeliness, capacity, and utilization.
  • Plans and directs work activities to meet product targets and customer specifications. Oversees the quality and timeline metrics of all content sets within the team.
  • Drives and seamlessly implements improvement initiatives and projects; and recommend process enhancements.
  • Participates in performance management process, including compensation planning, of direct reports or assigned area; provides input on promotional decisions.
  • Identifies and develops talent within organization by coaching, motivating, and providing development plans and growth opportunities.
  • Participates in hiring, talent review and career development of direct reports or assigned area.
  • Implement and action strategies to limit attrition with focus on retention of critical and high performing employees.
  • Demonstrates leadership quality by constructively influencing and channeling others to work towards a common goal.
  • Participates in initiatives/efforts at an org level, recommending changes to improve key performance metrics.
  • Improves motivation and continuous development of the core competencies of team members resulting in better employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead/ co-lead org-wide efforts that extend beyond assigned area or location. Partner with other people managers and leaders to improve operational effectiveness.

You're a fit for the role of Team Manager, Content Operations if your background includes:

  • Proven experience in team leadership and people management, including workload planning, performance oversight, coaching, and day-to-day team administration.
  • Strong ability to analyze operational metrics and generate reports on productivity, quality, timeliness, capacity, and utilization to drive business decisions.
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement and project implementation, with the ability to recommend and execute initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Experience in talent management, including hiring, performance management, employee development, succession planning, and retention strategies for high-performing teams.
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead organization-wide initiatives toward common goals.
