Job Description

As the Sales Support Manager you'll be overseeing the front end of our very popular store in the heart of Porirua!

Here's what your day-to-day will look like:

• Manage and inspire a brilliant crew of around 32 team members, bringing out the best in this wonderfully diverse group. Your coaching and support will help them thrive and genuinely enjoy coming to work!
• Oversee all checkout operations with a keen eye, ensuring smooth transactions, mastering cash procedures and keeping everything running like clockwork.
• Implement and maintain sharp loss prevention measures across the store, keeping our assets safe whilst maintaining a welcoming environment for our customers.
• Spend quality time on the shop floor, supporting your team, solving problems on the spot, and being the visible leader who makes things happen.
• Execute store plans effectively, interpret directives, and translate them into action keeping operations humming.
• Champion exceptional customer service standards, inspiring your team to deliver outstanding experiences that keep our community coming back for more.
• Support the Store Manager with rostering and managing store labour.
• Work collaboratively across the store, Warehouse Stationery, and fulfillment centre to ensure seamless operations and a unified team spirit.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a self-driven, confident leader with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of delivering high levels of performance through your team. You'll also need to have a good understanding of cash and checkout procedures, as well as product services, and be able to interpret and execute plans effectively. We're also looking for someone with a can-do attitude, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
