Keene State College's Advancement and Alumni Relations team seeks an experienced Director of Advancement Services to lead the Advancement Services team of staff, students and consultants in the support of the Advancement division. This includes the donor/alumni database, gift processing, fund creation/management, financial reports and reconciliations, and demographics. This is a full-time benefitted position with a high level of independent decision-making this position non-reliant upon daily or immediate supervision.
Leads the Advancement Services team of staff, students and consultants in the support of the Advancement division and campus with a high level of independent decision-making this position non-reliant upon daily or immediate supervision. This includes the donor/alumni database, gift processing, fund creation/management, financial reports and reconciliations, and demographics. Other duties as assigned. All staff positions on campus support students and will be involved in student-focused activities.
Job Duties:
For the Advancement Services team determine, prioritize, assign and oversee work and projects. Authorize to hire, conduct performance reviews, handle disciplinary actions, structure and assign work, provide direction and support of staff, in addition to functional supervision, prioritizing and additional training.
Working closely with the Fund Stewardship Assistant, responsible for and oversees the creation, stewardship, distributions, donor/campus/Financial Aid support and auditing of over 650 active Gift Funds, providing training, support and guidance for the creation and daily processing in campus and USNH systems, fund stewardship support for Advancement, Donors and Campus and auditing to ensure donor intention is met.
Manages oversight of demographics including the updating of constituent records from multiple channels (NCOA, returned mail, donors, campus partners. etc.), researching as needed. Identifies and structures integrity projects. Oversees demographic and management process. Responsible for management of the flow and quality of work; supervision of staff, analyzing the current work, and creating and managing a plan to assure quality stewardship. Oversee data integrity and constituent services operations.
