The Stand is a fast-growing, family-owned and operated restaurant chain with 22 locations across California and Texas — and more on the way. Known for our Classic American food with a twist, we're the premier neighborhood fast-casual family restaurant.

We are expanding our catering program and are looking for a Catering Sales Manager with a passion for sales, relationship building, and delivering exceptional results.

Position Overview

As our Catering Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving catering sales through proactive outreach, relationship management, and exceptional client service. You will seek out new business opportunities, nurture existing relationships, and use our established systems and tools to exceed sales goals. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a self-starter mentality, and a passion for closing deals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Proactively find and develop new catering clients in the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate, community, and private event clients.
  • Process incoming catering orders and ensure flawless execution from start to finish.
  • Use CRM tools and company resources to track leads, manage follow-ups, and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Conduct product samplings and client presentations to introduce our brand and menu offerings.
  • Partner with operations teams to ensure orders are delivered on time and meet client expectations.
  • Monitor client satisfaction, follow up on orders, and handle any service recovery needs promptly.
  • Develop strategies to meet and exceed monthly catering sales targets.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in the restaurant, catering, or hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License; occasional local driving may be required for client visits, deliveries, or events.

Availability

  • Scheduling Flexibility: Be available for peak hours, weekends, holidays, and emergencies to ensure consistent, reliable leadership. Demonstrate adaptability in staffing during unforeseen changes or demands.
