The Salvation Army is seeking a Team Leader to support the delivery of high-quality homelessness services in Alice Springs. This role plays a key part in ensuring people experiencing homelessness, displacement and complex social challenges receive safe, consistent and person-centred support.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Case Manager or emerging leader who is ready to step into a supervisory role. You will lead a small team of Case Managers, support day-to-day service delivery, and contribute to a justice-diversion program that provides supported accommodation and psychosocial support for people with low to mild mental health needs.
If you are passionate about leading teams, strengthening practice and improving outcomes for people experiencing homelessness, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the Central Australian community.
The Team Leader provides supervision, guidance and operational support to the Case Management team. You will oversee intake and assessment, case management practice, assertive outreach and the delivery of holistic support to clients.
Working closely with the Program Manager, you will ensure services are delivered safely, consistently and in line with TSA policies, legislation and funding requirements. You will also contribute to budgeting oversight, stakeholder engagement and the recruitment, onboarding and development of staff.
This role requires strong communication skills, resilience, and the ability to support a team working with clients who may present with homelessness, AOD concerns, mental health needs and complex social circumstances.
