The Salvation Army (Salvos) is one of the largest providers of homelessness services across the country. We provide services and supports to adults, and families with accompanying children in the form of accommodation, case management, assertive outreach, financial assistance, community connection and referral services.
About the role:
As a Peer Support Worker - Journey to Social Inclusion this is your opportunity to utilise your personal experience and perspective of lived or living experience to support clients of the J2SI Program and break down the barriers of client engagement. You will work collaboratively with Case Managers and other team members to support clients to identify and achieve set goals and outcomes.
Reporting to the Team Leader, this is a permanent part-time role offering 22.8 hours, located in Geelong, VIC.
