Make a Real Difference – Become a House Support Worker with The Salvation Army
Do you have a heart for people experiencing homelessness and want to be part of meaningful change in your community?
We are seeking a House Support Worker who is passionate about empowering individuals to reclaim their lives, find safe accommodation, and build towards a brighter future. You will provide compassionate, practical support to individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. You'll help people stabilise their housing situations, build independent living skills, and connect them to essential services and community networks.
As part of our Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) team, you'll be working within a dynamic and supportive environment where collaboration is key — alongside health services, local agencies, and other service providers. We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for helping others, and the resilience to walk alongside people during some of their most difficult times.
Reporting to the Support Services Team Leader, this is a fixed-term full-time position contracted for 12 months, based in Geelong, VIC. Compensation is in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 5.
