The Salvation Army Family Violence Services provides specialist family violence support across the Northern Territory. This role plays a vital part in creating a safe, calm and supportive environment for women and children seeking refuge after hours. Your presence helps ensure that every person who walks through our doors feels heard, protected and supported at a critical moment in their lives.
As a Family Violence Support Worker, you will work alongside the Family Violence team to deliver responsive, client led support during evenings, sleepovers and weekend shifts. You will be a steady and reassuring point of contact, helping clients feel safe, assisting with immediate needs and contributing to the smooth operation of the refuge.
This is a permanent part-time role of 15.2 hours a week based in the Darwin Region. Pay is in accordance with a SCHADS Level 4.
