In this role, you will provide application, troubleshooting, and system configuration support to scientists and laboratory professionals using Thermo Scientific NanoDrop instruments via phone and email. You will also create and maintain a wide range of technical documentation, including user manuals, application notes, and troubleshooting guides.

While no two days are the same, responsibilities typically include approximately 80% technical support and 20% special projects, including marketing and application development support.

Develop and maintain deep technical expertise in Thermo Scientific NanoDrop instrumentation, including computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, and core molecular biology techniques.

Provide responsive, high-quality technical support via phone, email, and web-based channels.

Maintain and update NanoDrop troubleshooting guides and other internal support resources.

Contribute to technical documentation such as user guides, protocols, and application notes.

Perform additional duties as needed in response to new procedures, technologies, or business needs.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field and 2+ years of laboratory experience, or 2 years of experience in a technical support role with direct customer interaction.

Proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues involving complex scientific instrumentation through remote support.

Strong foundation in life science technologies and molecular biology methods.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Demonstrated experience writing technical documents such as protocols or application notes.

Familiarity with the operation and architecture of Windows operating systems.

Effective time-management skills and the ability to prioritize and complete tasks independently.

Collaborative mindset and ability to work constructively with peers and management.

Demonstrated enthusiasm for the organization and a strong commitment to customer service.
