Summary Of The Position:
Tool Room Tech is responsible for carrying out mold preparations, preventive and minor repairs in production, as well as maintaining their work area clean and orderly, reporting directly to the group leader and the mold engineer. Any problem or anomaly is reported directly to the group leader, who in turn reports to the mold engineer and the Tool Room leader.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with safety guidelines.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on each mold to ensure operational continuity within the production process.
- Fill out work orders, fault reports, and repairs.
- Keep track of consumable material during the shift.
- Write the corresponding reports in case of faults, improvements, or opportunities detected and deliver them to the project engineers.
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the workplace, tools, and equipment.
- Participate in training sessions on environmental matters (if summoned)
- Carry out their tasks and responsibilities respecting the controls for the care of the environment and the integrity of employees
- Participate in the 4 Disciplines of Execution
- Participate in PPI activities
