Sales and Account Management Coordinator
The Sales and Account Management Coordinator is a member of the Commercial Solutions team. We are a sales enablement team supporting the Clinical Trial Division of Thermo Fisher Scientific. Responsibilities include assisting with sales, client services, analytics, and bid defense scheduling. This role is the link between pre-sale and post-sale client satisfaction.
How will you make an impact?
You will be a part of a diverse, dynamic team, who plays a critical role in supporting Account Executives and Global Portfolio Leads in ensuring a positive client experience throughout the sales process. This will be accomplished:
- By supporting Account Executives to manage opportunities through RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, bid defenses and post-win activities as the need arises
- By seeking knowledge of the drug development process, client needs, and the service lines available within the organization.
- By seeking advice/input on complex problems when needed

What will you do?
- Translate quotes into quote summaries to be used in Bid Defenses
- Support client communication in the form of business review meeting slide deck content
- Coordinate the strategic bidding process by working with SMEs, leading planning, and preparing for bid defenses
- Support metric development and reporting for mid-growth and large biopharma clients
- Perform administrative tasks and problem-solving while working closely with Global Portfolio Leads and Account Executives
- Support project management tasks such as scheduling meetings, following up with slide content contributors, preparing slides, and reviewing Powerpoint decks for accuracy
- Drive process efficiencies by finding opportunities for automation in the sales process
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Background in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably including clinical supply experience or equivalent proficiencies
- Ability to complete support tasks (administrative, operational, or technical)
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, especially PowerPoint
- Experience working remotely is preferred
- Excellent social skills and ability to work with a diverse and dynamic team
- Ability to work independently and to seek out support as needed
Education or Qualification
- Two-to-four-year degree from an accredited college, university, or recognized professional in a health-related field is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in District of Columbia is $59,400.00–$79,200.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
