Laboratory Support Technician (M/F/D)

Managed Services is a business segment that supports the Customer Channels Group, which provides critical on-site services at customer locations focused on research operations efficiency and effectiveness.
Position Summary:
The Laboratory Support Technician (m/f/d) provides comprehensive technical and operational support to ensure smooth functioning of laboratory activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure world-class functionality.
- Perform routine checks, calibrations, and functional tests on instruments to maintain outstanding accuracy.
- Prepare buffers, GMP/GSP solutions, reagents, wash buffers, quench solutions, and other laboratory solutions following strict protocols.
- Manage consumables through ordering, KanBan tracking, restocking, and inventory control to ensure seamless operations.
- Safely collect, segregate, and dispose of chemical, solvent, and pharmaceutical waste; maintain hazard registers and safety documentation.
- Support internal logistics including shipment of materials, mail distribution, and archiving of lab records.
- Conduct non-GMP laboratory activities such as LCMS vial cleaning, chromatography solvent preparation, and general lab upkeep.
- Adhere strictly to SOPs, GMP/GSP regulations, and site safety guidelines to ensure compliance and safety.
Qualifications:
- Technical education in chemistry, biology, or related field, or equivalent laboratory experience.
- Good knowledge of laboratory safety, GMP/GSP requirements, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment and preparing solutions.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capability to operate autonomously and within a collaborative setting.
- Problem-solving approach and willingness to learn.
Work Environment:
- Laboratory-based role with routine handling of chemicals and reagents.
- Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Some physical activity (lifting, transporting laboratory consumables).
