Main Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site installation, repair, maintenance, qualification, and validation of Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, Atomic Absorption, ICP-OES, and ICP-MS systems.
- Collaborate with other Service team members and Sales to deliver a client-focused experience.
- Apply customer management software for tracking service calls, managing parts inventories, and completing job tasks.
- Evaluate reports and documentation submitted by customers, and examine defective products to ascertain the extent and type of the issue.
- Evaluate review and examination results to identify the origin of the issue, and suggest maintenance, substitution, or alternative corrective measures.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Sciences, or a relevant field.
- Having a Master's degree or Post-Graduation in Chemistry, Engineering, or related fields will be viewed favorably.
- Practical experience as a Service Engineer is required, especially working with analytical instrumentation or 3+ years of relevant experience in the chromatography systems sector.
- Effective communication and establishing good relationships with customers are essential.
- Ability to prioritize service requests and produce clear and concise documentation.
- Must be available to travel up to 80% of the time within the Brazilian territory or other areas as needed.
Languages:
- Advanced English.
- Proficiency in Spanish is beneficial.
