We are looking for a Field Service Engineer/Servicetechniker (W/M/D) LC-MS in the Rhein-Main region to support our team. As a service technician at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will make a decisive contribution to providing excellent services for sophisticated analytical and scientific instruments. You will work closely with customers from research, industry, and the healthcare sector and be responsible for installation, maintenance, fault analysis, qualification, and repair of complex systems. In this role, you will work with the latest technology and actively contribute to scientific development and innovation.
A Day In The Life:
In this position, you will take care of the product lines HPLC, ion chromatography, and – depending on your qualifications – mass spectrometry and mol/DIA products in your region. You will install and commission devices, carry out maintenance and repairs, and ensure the optimal functioning of the systems. You will prepare service missions technically and organizationally and carry them out economically. You will also document your service missions, take over escalation management according to Thermo Fisher guidelines, and provide technical and application-technical support to customers.
