DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Build, maintain, and fix CI/CD pipelines for different environments (Dev, Stg, Prod). Release management, including main releases, patch releases, and configuration updates. Collaborate with various development teams to build infrastructure and maintain deployment tools/procedures for applications. Dive deep and identify failure patterns to resolve problems and their root cause. Support. Proficient in solving problems and effectively managing staging/production environments. Creation/deployment of new environments, systems, projects, etc. First response for alerts and alarms. Deliver high-performance cloud deployment solutions and maintain efficient deployment pipelines, monitor servers, and solve problems. Ensure that the organization adheres to security standards and follows efficient DevOps processes. Ensure that monitoring is robust and effective, resulting in zero downtime. Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms.

Qualifications:

Education, Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Behaviour) and Experience:

BE/BTech

3+ years total experience.

Knowledge in containerization (Docker), scaling of services using orchestration (Kubernetes)

Good to know about traffic management (Istio), API management (KONG, APISIX) & similar services

Experience in Kubernetes application deployment using Helm

Experience with various AWS service (VPC,EC2,Auto Scaling,ELB,S3,OpenSearch,RabbitMQ,Route53,ACM, etc)

Understanding of any Source Code Management (GitHub) and CI-CD system (Jenkins)

Strong Linux administration/Scripting,/Debugging skills (preferably Bash/Python/Ruby)

Strong understanding of infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Packer, etc.)

Hands-on experience with logging & monitoring tools like Datadog, Loki, Promtail, Grafana & Prometheus

Strong working knowledge of software development technologies in an agile environment, scrums, and using tools such as JIRA/Confluence

Previous release and/or project management experience (Solid understanding of project management principles preferred)

Exposure to Artifactory or any other release management system.

Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills to work across various teams and demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
