We are seeking a reliable and caring Childcare Teacher – Part Time to support classrooms during afternoon and end-of-day routines. This role helps ensure a safe, organized, and nurturing environment for children while assisting teachers with daily activities, transitions, and classroom wrap-up procedures. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young learners, is flexible, and thrives in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and routines.
• Supervise children during indoor play, outdoor activities, and transitions.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment.
• Support teachers in preparing materials and setting up activities.
• Assist with closing procedures, including cleaning, organizing, and preparing classrooms for the next day.
• Provide coverage and support where needed to ensure smooth end-of-day operations.
• Collaborate with staff to maintain a positive and nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with young children or in a childcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to assist in different classroom environments.
• Patient, supportive, and attentive when working with children.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a childcare center, preschool, or daycare environment.
• Understanding of early childhood development and play-based learning.
• Ability to maintain structured routines and a calm environment.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
