Sr. National Account Manager (Contract)

LaSalle Network is partnering with a leading consumer electronics company to find an experienced Sr. National Account Manager (Contract) for a high-impact contract engagement with strong potential for permanent conversion. This role was created to ensure leadership continuity and accelerate growth during a key commercial transition. You'll own a major 3P retail marketplace business, lead strategic retailer negotiations, and manage a small team — all while driving toward critical Q4 milestones. If you thrive at the intersection of ecommerce strategy, commercial negotiation, and hands-on execution, this is the role for you. Please note this will be a contract opportunity and will be required to work Mon-Fri onsite at their West Loop based office.

What You'll Do

  • Own and manage a large-scale 3P retail marketplace business across floor care, environmental care, and refurbished product categories
  • Drive revenue performance through optimization of listings, pricing, assortment, and product availability
  • Lead end-to-end contract negotiations to launch a new refurbished product program with a top national retailer — from initial kickoff through final commercial agreement
  • Develop and secure Q4 and holiday promotional placements, including Black Friday and peak trading periods
  • Build and execute the promotional calendar in partnership with key retail accounts
  • Manage and develop a small team, including an operations lead and account management support
  • Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, DTC, finance, and commercial teams
  • Contribute to channel strategy discussions, including potential 3P-to-1P model transitions, with clear analysis of margin tradeoffs and operational complexity

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience managing large-scale retail or marketplace accounts (Walmart, Amazon, Costco, or comparable national retailers)
  • Strong track record in commercial deal structuring and contract negotiation with major retail partners
  • Background in consumer goods — electronics or high-value product experience strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce marketplace dynamics: search algorithms, traffic drivers, ratings, and conversion optimization
  • Demonstrated people management experience with direct reports
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience managing or launching 3P marketplace businesses
  • Familiarity with refurbished product programs or secondary market channels
  • Exposure to 1P vs. 3P business model strategy and transitions
  • Experience with ecommerce integration or middleware platforms
