Sales Account Manager

We are partnering with a fast-growing food manufacturing organization that focuses on oils, lards, and shortenings used in QSR frying, industrial applications, and CPG ingredient manufacturing. My client is looking to hire on a Sales Account Manager who will manage a portfolio of CORE accounts and drive new business across restaurant chains, foodservice distributors, and ingredient/industrial customers. This is a growing opportunity for the team, and you will be reporting into the VP of Sales and partnering with 3 additional Account Managers. This role will require a 4-day hybrid schedule. Relocation package available for candidates out of state.

Sales Account Manager Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing CORE customer accounts across restaurant, foodservice, and ingredient channels.
  • Develop new business within prioritized segments; build and maintain a robust pipeline.
  • Create sales plans to achieve volume, margin, and KPI targets.
  • Partner with Finance, Sourcing, and Customer Service to deliver pricing, forecasting, and best-in-class service.
  • Lead contract renewals, RFP responses, and negotiation strategies.

Sales Account Manager Requirements:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in food, foodservice, ingredients, or food manufacturing at the local level.
  • Experience selling into restaurant chains, distributors, or manufacturers.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel 20–30% and work in a hybrid environment.

Nice to Haves:

  • Oils, shortenings, fats, or ingredient sales experience.
  • Experience supporting QSRs or multi-unit restaurant groups.
