LaSalle Network is partnering with a global manufacturing company seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support its busy operations in Mundelein. This Human Resources Generalist will work directly with plant leadership and employees to keep HR operations running smoothly and create a positive employee experience. The right Human Resources Generalist will enjoy being out on the floor, building relationships with employees, and tackling everything from employee relations to engagement initiatives.

What's the job?

• Provide day-to-day employee relations support and guidance
• Answer employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR processes
• Assist with payroll support, attendance tracking, and timekeeping administration
• Manage and maintain employee data within Dayforce HRIS
• Coordinate employee engagement activities and HR programs
• Support internship and co-op initiatives
• Partner cross-functionally on HR projects and process improvements
• Help maintain compliance with company policies and employment practices

What's needed?

• 2+ years of HR Generalist or related HR experience
• Manufacturing or plant HR experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Dayforce or similar HRIS systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of discretion and professionalism
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, employee-facing environment
• Comfortable working fully on-site in Mundelein
