Reports To: Senior Sales Manager + Director of Operations
POSITION OVERVIEW

In coordination with the Sales department, this role is responsible for inbound and outbound sales efforts driven by research, marketing initiatives, networking and outreach. Responsible for soliciting and servicing business in the operation in accordance with the marketing plan and assigned market segments. Generates a high profile and quality perception in the marketplace. Responsible for maximizing profitability and ensuring overall client satisfaction. Initially, this position will be assigned tasks outside of the scope of the job description as business needs dictate.
WORK HOURS
This role is required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. They must be able to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs Monday - Friday with nights and weekends depending on events and functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Sales Focused
Building a client base through sales calls, prospecting, direct mail, networking and referrals
Adding 20 contacts per week to Hubspot database and starting on appropriate sequence
Responding to customer inquiries within assigned market segment
Creating and maintaining client relationships
Preparing proposals and contracts for clients within the assigned market segment that meet the financial objectives of the company
Follow-up and closing sales to meet sales goals
Communicating all relevant information to the appropriate departments in detailed manner
Maintaining consistent communication with Operations and the Client to ensure a beneficial relationship and client satisfaction.
Make in-person sales calls to potential clients at their place of business on a monthly, or semi monthly basis (as determined by management).
Travel to and from businesses of potential clients, as requested.
Attend trade shows and conferences, as requested.
TARGET MARKET SEGMENT: On and Off Site catering sales in the greater Phoenix area.
Marketing Focused
Assist with marketing sales collateral as needed
Attend trade shows and other exhibitions as requested to represent the brand. This will include set-up, execution and teardown.
Operations
Create the banquet event order/kitchen sheet with an attention to detail and accuracy
Be the liaison between operations and the client
Attend all full-service offsite events to ensure guest satisfaction and client rapport, as
needed
Work with the operations team for all pack lists
Attend BEO meetings
Process end of event paperwork
Administrative
Attend daily sales weekly staff meetings, sales meetings and department meetings, as requested.
Complete commission report monthly and submit to Director by 5th of each month
Complete mileage report monthly and submit approved spreadsheet to HR by 1st of each month
Complete all training and continued education as requested.
Follow the supervisor's instructions and complete all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Current experience in the Phoenix market is preferred
Strong time management skills

Minimum 3 years' experience in Catering/Restaurant Sales is required
Experience in hospitality/restaurant industry is preferred
Previous Offsite Catering experience is required
Experience with Tripleseat, Gather, Caterease, etc is required
Experience with Google software and/or Microsoft Office software is required
Must have a valid Driver's License, reliable means of transportation and an acceptable MVR report.
Possess a valid Maricopa County Health Department Food Handlers Card.
The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 20 pounds.
The vision requirements include: depth perception, peripheral vision, distance vision and close vision.
Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
