We are seeking a Human Resources Front Desk Host for Dollywood Resorts who will embody the heart and soul of our mission of creating memories worth repeating while caring deeply about our brand. This person also brings a spirit of fun, authenticity, collaboration, creativity and genuine hospitality to the lives of our guests.

This individual is driven to create meaningful experiences for our hosts, guests, and community while ensuring the success and profitability of our unique offerings. The right Human Resources Front Desk Host checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator.

Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Answer phones, relay messages, and greet applicants, visitors and vendors in a pleasant, professional and polite manner, while providing information as needed
  • Provide computer assistance to applicants with completing applications or forms online
  • Greet and assist job candidates. Contact company representative conducting interview and give pertinent directions to candidates
  • Provide computer assistance to Hosts accessing internal sites or other forms online
  • Organize office appointments, applicant flow and interviews
  • Administer pre-employment tests such as typing and Excel proficiency
  • Be knowledgeable of and assist with employment functions to include, but not limited to, application, interview, and hiring processes
  • Serve as a source to Dollywood Company Hosts by assisting with and resolving questions about company programs and policies
  • Assist HR team with scheduling appointments and directing visitors to the appropriate representative
  • Assist with multiple Host recognition/appreciation events for all properties
  • Maintain excellent relationships with other teams
  • Respond, copy, and file daily correspondence in timely manner
  • Assist in recruiting and retention projects such as: Job Fair, Rehire letters, Rehire Processing Days, Transfer Day
  • Keep work area and front office neat and clean; vacuuming, dusting and disinfecting common spaces
  • Run errands on campus and to all Dollywood properties
  • Pick up and deliver inter-office mail as needed
  • Assist with additional HR processes and programs as needed
  • Use HR software systems to assist HR functions
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times to ensure that there is no release of information pertaining to records and plans of any other matter without approval

Education and Experience Required

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in an office environment in a similar, service-oriented position
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, Google Docs
  • Type 35 WPM
  • Experience with various office equipment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with requirements for compliance with federal, state and company rules and regulations

  • Able to lift up to 25lbs occasionally
  • This position requires evenings and occasional Saturdays
