Part-time Student Support Teacher

Bishop Larkin Catholic School seeks a part-time Student Support Teacher. Applicant should have experience working with students with a variety of learning challenges and needs.

Qualifications: The qualified candidate will possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Exceptional Student Education, Elementary Education or related field as well as current Florida Teaching Certification.

Position Responsibilities:

• Know, teach, and act consistently in accordance with the mission, philosophy, beliefs and policies of Bishop Larkin Catholic School
• Provide a student-centered learning environment that differentiates instruction to maximize student learning
• Maintain classroom supervision and incorporate positive behavior strategies
• Preparation of unit plans that are tied to standards and benchmarks
• Communicate regularly with students' parents so as to assure that parents are fully aware of religious, academic, and social progress being made by their children
• Articulate with co-workers to ensure consistency in learning and a high quality of curriculum

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level II Background Screening.
