Customer Service Representative

This position reports directly to the director of operations.

Responsibilities

  • Answer customer questions and offer solutions in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Follow up with customers to identify their needs and respond.
  • Promote customer loyalty by providing exceptional customer support.
  • Maintain a high level of excellence for the organization and customer service.
  • Promote teamwork in all departments.
  • Make constant follow-ups with customers on progress of customer service related issues.
  • Handle warranty claims for furniture.
  • Understand all policies and procedures of The Brick Group and comply with them.
  • Review operational reports every day and make appropriate follow-ups.
  • Ensure customers are 100% satisfied.
  • Help with the training of new members of the operations team.
  • Handle customer complaints regarding service and offer solutions.
  • Improve store profitability and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service focused with good team spirit
  • Ability to multitask and maintain organization
  • Proficiency in computers and Microsoft Office programs
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal (French and English)

Being bilingual (French, English – spoken and written) is necessary for frequent interactions with English and French speaking customers, colleagues and/or internal partners/suppliers across Canada.
