Mid-Level Lss / Fire Protection Engineer

We are seeking a Mid-Level LSS / Fire Protection Engineer for assignment in Boise, Idaho. The selected candidate will work on projects that include state of the art industrial and commercial facilities.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

This position is on-site.

This position has a pay rate of $40 - $58.50/hr.

Responsibilities

- Perform regular field walks

- Attend project meetings

- Develop I&C drawings

- Construction specifications

- Specify instruments

- Write sequences of operations

- Reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications

- Producing process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), designs for electrical circuits and panels, control panel drawings and wiring diagrams

Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

- 4+ years experience working with Instrumentation and Controls or Life Safety Systems / Fire Protection

- Working knowledge of PLC's (Siemens), DCS and other controls applications

- Ability to generate complete I&C / LSS design packages (e.g. P&IDs, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, control narratives, etc.)

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks is a plus

- An Engineer-in-Training Certification (EIT) is a plus
