As the Regional Sales Manager – Application Security (A&NZ), you will be responsible for driving new business growth across large enterprise and government accounts, with a strong focus on ASX 200 organisations.
You will lead full-cycle sales motions, expand strategic enterprise accounts and position Thales' Application Security solutions within broader cybersecurity and digital transformation initiatives across on-premise, hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
This is a critical growth role supporting Australia CSP Application Security revenue objectives for FY26.
Develop and execute territory and strategic account plans across enterprise accounts
Drive full-cycle sales including prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, negotiation and close plans
Build and maintain strong C-Level and senior security stakeholder relationships (CISO, CIO, AppSec, Digital teams)
Position Thales Application Security solutions across applications, APIs, BOTs, DevOps pipelines and web gateways
Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Channel Partners, Strategic Client Directors, Marketing, Customer Success and Support teams
Lead RFI/RFP responses and manage complex enterprise procurement cycles
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and meet or exceed revenue targets
Expand existing accounts through structured upsell and cross-sell strategies
Contribute to commercial strategy, executive summaries and Gate processes
Drive pipeline reviews, business forums and forecast governance activities
Proven enterprise sales experience within cybersecurity or technology environments
Strong ability to build financial and commercial offers aligned to customer needs
Experience managing large strategic accounts across enterprise and government sectors
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close complex, multi-stakeholder deals
Resilience and adaptability within competitive and high-performance sales environments
Strong listening skills and ability to tailor solutions to customer requirements
Experience contributing to commercial strategies and revenue forecasting
Strong stakeholder engagement skills across internal and external executive audiences
Track record of meeting or exceeding Order Intake (OI) and revenue targets
