System Engineering Position At Thales Norway

We are looking for someone who wants to develop in system engineering and preferably has a background in software. In this position, you will work on the further development of our product for administration and distribution of krypton keys and equipment. The work takes place in an integrated team with other system engineers and in close cooperation with software and FPGA developers.

Responsibilities and key tasks:

• Contribute to understanding customer requirements and needs, and breakdown of requirements into system design
• Contribute to concept and system design including modeling
• Write technical system documentation
• Collaborate with software developers for implementation of system design

Current areas of expertise are:

• Requirements management
• Modeling / UML / decomposition
• System Engineering
• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
• Preferably with experience and/or desire for further development in these areas

We are looking for someone who is young, curious about technical solutions and has a desire for a holistic system understanding. You are ambitious and want to develop into our new technical expert in krypton key management.

Qualifications and characteristics:

• You have high technical competence and ability to understand solutions at a technical detailed level
• You are innovative and able to see opportunities and solutions for complex technical problems
• It is an advantage if you have experience in and understanding of software development
• Relevant higher technical education at master level
• You have 3-5 years relevant work experience
• Good written and oral presentation skills in Norwegian and English

We want certificates to be attached to the application, possibly also other relevant documentation.

To be a current candidate for the position, you must be a Norwegian citizen, and you must be able to be security cleared and authorized for level SECRET and NATO SECRET with special instructions from the National Security Authority.
