In Ulm, Germany, Thales is looking for a Wareneingangsprüfer in full- or part-time, initially for a period of two years. In Ulm, you will be working on communication solutions for space missions and electric satellite propulsion systems. You will be developing Wanderfeldröhren-Verstärker, which are used on most satellites to transmit signals to Earth, or you might be interested in joining the team working on environmentally friendly electric propulsion systems for space components that enable sustainable living on Earth. Your mission will include the following tasks: preparation and execution of inspections and tests on parts and semi-finished products according to specified inspection plans or inspection standards or boundary samples. This also includes the control of manufacturer certificates of semi-finished products, the creation of error report messages and the formulation of error descriptions in case of deviations from the expected condition, the execution of booking modalities in the SAP system, and the calibration of testing equipment according to instructions and the execution of simple maintenance of equipment according to specified maintenance plans.

We are looking for someone with a completed vocational training, ideally with initial professional experience in the relevant field, a secure handling of mechanical and optical measuring instruments, an understanding of drawings, inspection plans, and laboratory instructions and the ability to implement them, a high sense of quality, and ideally experience with SAP.
