Thales Austria Marketing And Strategy Role
Thales Austria is responsible for representing all affairs in Austria and has an extended mandate for CEE countries including Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia, and Albania. Currently, Thales in Austria employs 400 staff members and generates a revenue of 100 million euros, securing several hundred highly qualified jobs in Austria with the involvement of subcontractors and suppliers.
Who Are You?
- You are a graduate from a BAC+5 program in business school or international relations
- You are looking for a 12-month renewable contract located in Vienna, Austria
- You speak and write fluently in French and English
- Proficiency in German or any other Central European or Balkan language is an asset
- You are a good communicator, both orally and in writing, enthusiastic, and capable of working both in a team and independently
- You are flexible and have a good capacity to take initiatives
- You have a certain mastery of office software tools (word, excel, power point) and CRM tools
- You have significant first-hand experience in commercial analysis, commercial development, strategy, or marketing

What We Can Achieve Together:
You will join the Strategy and Marketing team based in Vienna and participate in various activities throughout the year, working closely with the director of strategy and marketing for the Northern Europe and Central Europe region. You will gain a comprehensive view of all activities related to strategic commercial development for a vast region extending from Norway to Greece.
Your main missions will be as follows:
Commercial Operations
- Consolidation and preparation of order intake forecasts in collaboration with local teams and global sales units, ensuring consistency and quality of data
- Internal coordination, monitoring, and reporting of activities with sales units and central functions
Marketing
- Evaluate and support the alignment of Thales' offerings with the needs of clients in the NCE region
- Support key account managers in the deployment of Thales' portfolio
- Work closely with global sales units to understand and adapt the offering to local requirements
Business Intelligence
- Develop the practice of business intelligence to support informed decision-making at the regional level
- Focus on mapping the main industrial players and their capabilities within the NCE region
