Team Lead Rte Embedded Software Engineering

Location: Stuttgart, Germany

Your mission as team lead rte embedded software engineering:

  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of a team of 12 embedded software engineers and architects for the development of safety-critical systems for civilian and military systems
  • Responsibility for the professional development of the team as well as for efficient resource utilization in projects
  • Ensuring high-quality work results through adherence to defined processes, tools, and quality standards
  • Close cross-functional collaboration with project managers, executives, and other team leaders in a matrix structure
  • Operational support for technical solution finding and taking over technical engineering management tasks in projects

We look forward to:

  • Completed degree in information technology, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Proven experience in the development of safety-critical real-time embedded software with in-depth knowledge in C/C++ as well as in the design, validation, and qualification of corresponding systems (BSI approvals are an advantage)
  • Very good knowledge in hardware-near software development and in the use of modern development tools such as Visual Studio, Polarion, Jira, Confluence, Gitlab, and Git
  • Experience with agile and classical development processes as well as their practical application in everyday project life
  • Leadership experience or potential in leading technical teams as well as in mentoring and coaching of employees
  • Very good German and English language skills in speech and writing
