Internship Opportunity At Thales In Valence, France

Joining Thales in Valence, you will be part of the global center of gravity for our avionics helicopter activities. It also houses our digital services activities. You will join the Industrial Competence Center. You will be linked with the Production Sensors service in which you will participate in the technical support of sensors mostly intended for civilian and military navigation. The objective of this internship is to assist the Product Series Responsible Engineers in solving technical issues encountered in production or exploitation. To do this, you will regularly move to the production lines to exchange and progress in your missions.

You will work in collaboration with many stakeholders: Technical Department, Design Office, Method Services, Quality, Purchasing, Expertise Laboratories, external suppliers and subcontractors.

In this context, you will:

• Take charge of root cause analysis and risk analysis;
• Participate in the handling of obsolescence and definition evolutions;
• Search and validate productivity gain proposals for industrial competitiveness works;
• Ensure the performance follow-up of the first series products through the mastery of variability in the context of the industrialization of new products;
• Participate daily in service meetings with all team members to ensure the follow-up of tasks.

Your profile: You are in BAC+5 in an engineering school and you:

• Follow a generalist curriculum;
• Have ideally a keen interest in the field of aeronautics;
• Have skills in mechanics and/or electronics;
• Master technical English.
