In Thun you will find the Customer Service Center, which primarily works together with the two Combat Training Centers (GAZ) East and West, which we operate on behalf of the Swiss Army. This is the right place for you if you want to use your technical, mechanical or electrical skills for the repair, maintenance or upgrades of training materials. Your Mission

  • Conduct maintenance work (Level B & C) of assemblies and subsystems in the area of live simulators
  • Install and integrate new assemblies into the simulation systems
  • Perform maintenance and inspection work throughout Switzerland
  • Use various test tools and test sites for fault analysis
  • Complete the administrative accompanying and follow-up work
  • Collect information (journals, visits, reports, feedback) to assess system behavior and initiate the innovation process for improvement measures to minimize life-cycle costs
  • Develop technical documents for the benefit of system management and team leader
  • Support the integration of released software or firmware updates, upgrades and patches as needed

We Rely On You

  • A completed training as an electrician EFZ / electronics technician EFZ / automation technician
  • EFZ / mechatronics EFZ or similar
  • Proven professional skills in the areas of mechanics, electronics, electricity
  • Experience as a service technician in a comparable position
  • SAP user skills are desirable
  • Positive attitude towards the military environment
  • Possess Swiss citizenship
  • Confident and convincing appearance
  • Independent and duty-conscious working style
  • Willingness for periodically planned work throughout Switzerland
  • Fluent German in speech and writing
  • Recognizable social and personality competence
  • Driving license category B
