Service Technician (f/m/d) At The Site Hamburg

Your mission as Service Technician:

  1. Ensure availability and functionality of Thales In-Flight Entertainment Systems (IFEC) on equipped aircraft
  2. Work and communicate directly with customers and Airbus representatives
  3. Support aircraft technicians and administrative staff in all Final Assembly Lines (FAL) by answering questions and completing required tasks
  4. Troubleshoot potential software and hardware issues inside the aircraft, replace hardware if required, and take further related tasks surrounding the industrial manufacturing and delivery process
  5. Prepare installed Thales IFEC systems to meet customer expectations, manufacturer requirements, and company interests

What We Look Forward To:

  • Hold an officially recognized technician qualification or bring at least five years of professional experience in IT systems and IT networks, ideally in the aviation industry
  • Demonstrate strong skills in hardware and software troubleshooting as well as mandatory network experience
  • Apply technical analysis to identify and resolve non-conformities, with good knowledge of Linux as a desirable asset
  • Communicate effectively in very good English and good German while collaborating with international teams
  • Show motivation, willingness to acquire new tasks, readiness to travel internationally, and a strong team spirit
