Key Objectives

Develop and implement sales strategy for its dedicated customers in order to achieve turnover target and long-term business results on both hardware and services.

Position Thales with its innovative solutions based on connectivity, cybersecurity, and identity management.

Drive the transformation in the automotive industry based on connected mobility and autonomous driving.

Mission and Main Responsibilities

Acting as the primary sales interface for the automotive accounts, OEM, Tiers1 and new actors in the eco-system.

Establish high-level strategic relationships with each accounts.

Identify new business opportunities and position Thales as a key partner within each account and related ecosystem.

Develop, propose and implement the strategic account planning.

Qualify opportunities and work with technical, product and marketing teams to transform into concrete opportunities and business.

Interface and coordinate with other Account Managers managing Tiers1 suppliers or equivalents in the eco system.

Facilitate Thales tenders' answers, coordinated by Solutions-/Technical Sales (Bid-Team…..)

Interface with various resources within the organization to ensure the customer's needs are fully understood and that the appropriate resources are allocated to the account.

Lead synchronization with other Thales GBU/BL addressing Car OEMs and T1 customers.

Provide the (global) account with product evolution inputs and roadmap definition.

Ensure relevant market information are communicated internally within Thales.

Qualifications

Education: Business or engineering school diploma or post graduate degree

Experience: Broad professional business experience in automotive industry (min. 6-8 years). Well experienced in Project- and Customer Relationship Management as well as Solution selling. Experiences/exposure with OEM/Tier1.

Interpersonal Skills

Quality oriented attitude. Sensitive to customer satisfaction. Persistence. Business/result oriented. Teamwork. Excellent communication skills. Autonomous. High level of strategic thinking with hands on mentality. Willingness to travel.

Professional Knowledge

Knowledge of Automotive segment and related industries as well as Telecom market. Knowledge of Project Management. Extensive negotiation skills. Ability to provide precise and rigorous forecast.

Tools

User Experience in CRM-tools (e.g. Salesforce.com, Siebel)

Language

Korean native/fluent. English mandatory fluent. French optional.
