Your mission as Head of Engineering:

• Overall responsibility for the engineering area of the Business Line Above Water Systems (AWS) at two locations in Germany, including leadership of the teams in software, systems engineering, IVVQ (integration, verification, validation, qualification), engineering delivery, and technical directorate
• Ensuring the successful project and product execution including capacity planning, performance management, and quality assurance
• Development of methods, processes, and tools in line with central engineering guidelines and maturity models
• Building and maintaining technical skills as well as responsibility for skill management and employee development in close collaboration with HR
• Harmonizing the development environment across locations and actively shaping the engineering governance at the corporate level

We look forward to:

• Completed technical degree (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or aerospace engineering) as well as sound business management knowledge
• Several years of leadership experience in the engineering field, ideally with responsibility for managers and complex system developments
• Technical understanding in hardware/software design, IT security, safety, design-to-cost, and system modeling
• Experience in international working environments, ideally in the maritime environment
• Fluent German and English language skills
