The Reconfigurable Desktop Trainer (R-DTT) support team conducts all maintenance and repairs to the R-DTT simulators located at various defence establishments in Australia. Each site is manned by a Field Service Representative FSR (who is a Simulation Technician (SIMTECH) / Trainer) with management of the sites being the responsibility of the maintenance manager (MM).
The purpose of the FSR position is to ensure that the administrative, servicing, maintenance, training and repair activities associated with the ongoing customer support for the R-DTT are carried out in accordance with contracted requirements for the site as detailed in the R-DTT through life support contract.

In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role. The Australian Defence Trade Controls Act (DTCA) is applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
