Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of algorithm design, cooperative human/machine dialog, data-driven AI, symbolic AI and reasoning, pure back-end programming languages & frameworks, mathematics, and statistics.
• Ability to explore, utilize, and enhance data, regardless of its type (structured or unstructured) and source (internal, external, web, connected objects, etc.).
• Skill in presenting results: storytelling, translating insights into action plans, dashboard creation, data visualization.

As a Data Science Role at Thales, you will:

• Find actionable insights to improve the product surfacing algorithm.
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to build scalable data pipelines.
• Develop machine learning models to enhance the marketplace.
• Design and implement solutions for algorithm transparency for partners.
• Deploy and monitor solutions in production using A/B testing.
• Work on machine learning techniques such as neural networks, CNN, RNN, deep learning, reinforcement learning, frugal learning, random forest, evolutionary algorithms, etc.
• Deploy back-end technologies like PHP, ASP, C++, C#, Java, Python, Ruby, REST, MongoDB, PaaS.
• Apply concepts in mathematics/statistics to solution studies: statistical modeling, linear algebra, optimization, machine learning.
