Thales Spain is looking for a person with a technical profile and at least 4 years of experience in cyber security infrastructure management and support to participate in the operation and support of NGFW environments based on CheckPoint, PaloAlto, and Fortinet. 100% project-based and shift work.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operation and administration of equipment and environments within the scope (backups, log management, health monitoring, etc.)
  • Management of requests and incidents regarding infrastructure and policies
  • Fine-tuning and evolution of security capabilities in different policies and needs
  • Corrective and reactive support for incidents, bugs, and malfunctions, either independently or through case management with the manufacturer.
  • Preventive, evolutionary support for different environments for their evolution, updating, patching, etc.
  • Secure configuration and bastion of the different infrastructures and equipment within the scope.
  • Continuous improvement and evolution of the appropriate policies and protection measures in each case.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in related or similar services
  • Minimum FPGS qualification in IT or telecommunications.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in networking and network management.
  • Knowledge and experience in service management using ticketing tools.
  • Knowledge and experience with manufacturers such as CheckPoint, PaloAlto, and Fortinet in different modules and capabilities.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in scripting (shell, python, etc.) or automation languages or environments (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc.)
  • Intermediate level of spoken and written English (minimum B2)
  • Availability for 24x5 service on rotating morning, afternoon, and night shifts
  • Availability to be physically present in the office.
