Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategically plan the marketing calendar to align with global and 3PB campaigns while supporting key local trade and consumer moments.

• Act as the key link with buying and retail operations to ensure activations (tactical and NSO) drive store footfall and meet business targets.

• Manage the rollout of global brand campaigns and 3PB initiatives across retail stores, online platforms, and social media (including influencer partnerships).

• Lead and develop the marketing and e-commerce team, setting KPIs and monitoring performance through regular reviews.

• Ensure consistency with global brand messaging and approve localised creative content in collaboration with JD Global Franchise Marketing team.

• Oversee third-party brand activity (adidas, Nike, NB, etc.), secure campaign budgets, and ensure financial contribution targets are met.

• Develop and implement processes to measure campaign success, focusing on ROI and integrating learnings into future planning.

• Allocate and track budgets, ensuring alignment with JD commercial goals and objectives.

• Collaborate with JD Global Franchise Marketing and TFG Franchise Manager on budget creation, forecasting, and management.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party suppliers and local agencies.

• Conduct market research and analyse data to inform marketing strategies.

• Champion team development and foster a collaborative environment.

• Manage CRM processes effectively.

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years marketing management experience

• Proven experience in a senior marketing role executing integrated campaigns across retail, online, social, and ATL channels.

• Strong organizational, project management and analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to influence and gain commitment across departments and stakeholders.

• Budget management and cost analysis expertise.

• Technical knowledge of marketing tools and theory with practical application.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Awareness of influencer marketing trends.

• Entrepreneurial, commercial, and analytical mindset.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Strong presentation skills adaptable to different audiences.

• Proficiency in Excel and Google Slides.
