Support industrialization and manufacturing readiness for New Project U171, including line setup, trials, and SOP preparation. Lead and support V2 extended volume ramp-up, ensuring stable production without impacting ongoing operations. Coordinate installation, commissioning, and validation of equipment, tooling, and fixtures for new and existing lines. Execute trial builds, sampling, PPAP, and SOP activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality requirements. Monitor and improve manufacturing KPIs such as scrap, downtime, productivity, and cycle time. Perform root cause analysis for manufacturing issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Support process stabilization and capacity improvement during volume ramp-up and extended production phases. Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Industrialization, and SCM teams to ensure smooth operations. Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations. Support continuous improvement initiatives, including tooling optimization, localization, and cost reduction. Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation, reports, and reviews related to project and volume execution. Provide hands-on shopfloor support during critical phases such as trials, audits, and customer visits.
External Experienced Manufacturing Engineer – Qualifications B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering may be considered for strong hands-on profiles with extensive shop-floor exposure) Minimum 5–7 years of relevant manufacturing experience Exposure to process improvement KPIs such as OEE, scrap reduction, productivity improvement Preferred Domain Skills Blow molding / welding / assembly processes Tooling & fixture understanding and improvement
