This position is responsible for providing technical advice and guidance on the F-35 aircraft configurations including air vehicle, support and training systems by leading the activities associated with both the major and minor change control processes. The candidate will be required to resolve technical problems associated with configuration issues as they relate to new change requests impacting internal aircraft delivery processes and customer acceptance processes and delivery requirements. The candidate will be required to work with a team of individuals who prepare, approve, and track closure of change requests and may require interface, communication, and presentation to management, IPTs, and the customer. This guidance will oversee execution of the existing process and spearhead process development and improvement activities to move beyond the initial stages of these processes into production and mature development concepts. The candidate will be required to educate internal personnel and external customer personnel in the processes being used for creating, managing and documenting all change request associated with development, manufacturing and sustainment of F-35 aircraft. Manage change request CRs through the change process life cycle, but also work on improving the lifecycle itself. Work with our partners NGC/BAE to solve integration issues. Will work on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
