This job is a member of the Inflight Team within the Customer Experience Division. Responsible for the Inflight Operations Support group in IOC and manages day of departure issues for Inflight. Oversees Inflight operational reliability and coordination with base operations, airport stations/operations, Catering, Flight, and Ops Performance & Analysis. Oversees report submissions for both safety and non-safety related reporting systems.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee a team responsible for reviewing, distributing, and responding to cabin-related reports, including Flight Attendant Reports, Cabin Discrepancy Worksheets, Corporate Event Reporting System (CERS) submissions, and Cabin ASAP disclosures.
  • Maintains departmental oversight and coordination of the departmental Emergency Response plan and represents Inflight in the IOC during an event
  • Maintains primary oversight of the Inflight Operations Support group in IOC, which provides 24/7/365 operational support.
  • Manages day of departure issues for Flight Service including, but not limited to, any irregular operations event including turbulence, security, misconduct, or a medical incident
  • Serves as the liaison with crew scheduling and crew tracking departments to resolve FA issues
  • Collaborates with the Critical Incident Response Team to address FAs needs/issues following serious events
  • Activates departmental and base responses for incidents 24/7
  • Manages the working relationships with various vendors for operational, security, and emergency systems.
  • Ensure timely and accurate handling of operational and safety-related reports, partnering with multiple departments for resolution and continuous improvement across catering, cabin appearance, aircraft discrepancies, and safety/self-disclosure processes.
  • Performs other projects as assigned

All You'll Need For Success:

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent training/experience
  • 7+ years operational management experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience:

  • Inflight management experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to be innovative and creative to address workforce issues and proactively prevent problems
