Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking full-time Software Engineers. In this role, you will design, test and deliver software UI/UX and backend coded solutions to complex digital ecosystem capabilities. Develop and implement features and capabilities using DevSecOps tools and methodologies. This role will also require communicating with internal and external customers. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge with common software development coding, particularly Python and Java. Familiarity with software pipeline, merge and peer review tools (Atlassian, GIT, etc.) Write clean, scalable code using java, Python, and other relevant languages. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance; this position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in IT Information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering with a software development focus from an accredited college in a related discipline
• Experience/training with Java, Python, or other relevant coding languages
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and/or Javascript
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.) and/or Gitlab
• Experience with databases and/or UI/UX design/development

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with Machine Learning and Natural Language Process technologies
• Information Technology system fundamental knowledge/understanding

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
