We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can design, implement, and manage complex network systems to ensure optimal performance and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cisco technologies and a proven ability to handle advanced networking protocols and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, and switches.
• Ensure the security and reliability of network systems by implementing best practices and advanced protocols.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues to quickly identify and resolve problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable network solutions.
• Manage and optimize configurations for Cisco routers and ASA firewalls.
• Implement and support Palo Alto firewalls to enhance system protection.
• Utilize Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) to manage efficient routing and connectivity.
• Conduct regular assessments of network systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to entry-level team members.
• Stay updated on emerging networking technologies to recommend and adopt improvements.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Cisco routers, ASA firewalls, and networking systems.
• Expertise in Cisco technologies and certifications such as CCIE.
• Proficiency in managing and configuring Palo Alto firewalls.
• Strong understanding of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and its applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
• Familiarity with industry best practices for network security and performance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
