Sr Analyst, Application Support

The Sr Analyst, Application Support maintains, integrates, and implements software applications within the organization. The Sr Analyst coordinates software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications. This role also ensures proper controls are established and maintained over test and production systems and software source code.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance for software applications within an organization by ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Provides support for software applications used by the organization by diagnosing and resolving application issues reported by end-users, investigating system errors or malfunctions, and troubleshooting technical problems.
- Collaborates with developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors to implement fixes and workarounds.
- Identifies potential issues during user acceptance testing, performs system health checks, and implements maintenance tasks such as patching, upgrades, or data cleanup.
- Performs user acceptance testing in order to report problems, performs data analysis and robust development of user acceptance testing scripts.
- Participates in Scrum daily meetings and discussions about enhancements, bug fixes, and new releases, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Working knowledge of problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to participate on the Enterprise Deployments scheduled on weekends as well as availability to perform monthly renewal production check out every 3rd Saturday of the month on a rotation basis.
- Readily available to participate and perform user acceptance testing (UAT) production check out for SMART, Gateway, and EDT applications emergency fixes (efixes) during any given evening, as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of related work experience:
- Proficient on the SMART Quoting and Rating System and EDT
- Experience creating meaningful UAT Test Scripts for both applications to be executed in QA, Staging, and Production
Preferred Qualifications:
- Software Engineering Master Certification (SEMC) preferred.
- ITIL 4 Foundation Certification preferred.
Education:
- Bachelors degree required or equivalent years of related experience

Pay Range: The typical pay range for this role is: $46,988.00 - $122,400.00
