The CPWS Retail Sales Associate plays a crucial role in supporting Sales Consultants and Area Managers by executing product placement activities, servicing accounts, and engaging in direct sales with customers. This position requires building strong customer relationships and ensuring that company products are prominently displayed and fully stocked in retail environments.
Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust. Service stores in assigned territories through refilling existing displays, cold boxes, and shelves. Update pricing, special offers, and custom signage. Conduct inventory checks and manage stock levels to prevent shortages. Assist Sales Consultants and Area Managers in managing customer accounts and provide sales route coverage as needed. Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and correctly present and position them in each account. Utilize survey tools to collect customer feedback and market data within accounts. Propose selling solutions to customers and win the sale using consultative selling skills. Achieve internal SGWS and supplier objectives as prioritized by management. Participate in sales meetings, on-site trainings, and supplier events as required. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
21 years of age or older. Able to maintain a valid and current driver's license. High School Diploma or GED required. Ability to secure and maintain a State Sales Permit in accordance with state laws (where applicable). Able to analyze and understand data and information. Proficient in using mobile devices (e.g., iPad®, smartphone) and online communication techniques (email, posting, texting, etc.) in a professional manner. Able to communicate effectively through various methods and express self clearly and concisely while appropriately tailoring message to audience. Able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Able to travel as needed.
