Mitchell's Furniture Store in Alpine, TX is looking for a friendly and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor, you'll help customers find stylish, functional furniture and home décor items while providing top-notch service. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a passion for home furnishings, and a genuine interest in helping customers create beautiful spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist with product selection
• Listen to customer needs and offer tailored furniture recommendations
• Provide detailed product knowledge and explain features, materials, and pricing
• Maintain a clean and organized showroom with appealing displays
• Process purchases and returns using our POS system accurately
• Assist with inventory checks and restocking as needed
• Stay informed about store promotions, sales, and policies
• Help achieve store sales goals and deliver excellent customer service

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Basic computer and cash register experience is a plus
