Program Work Environment Operations Project Support

The Engineering Operations and Business Services organization, within Engineering Service Solutions, has an opening for a Program Work Environment (PWE) Operations Project Support team member. We are seeking a PWE Operations Project Support team member to provide critical support to our technical teams within the Collins Mission Systems Secure Programs ecosystem.

As a PWE Operations Project Support, you will assist in the buildout and ongoing support of PWE Agile tools and methodologies. You will support the team and programs by organizing project activities, tracking key milestones, and maintaining project documentation. This role acts as process and tool expert for PWE and agile coach. Individuals must demonstrate the ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail, support multiple efforts at the same time, and provide a wide variety of operations tasks. Must possess ability to coordinate and lead activities as well as strong organization and analytical skills.

What You Will Do

  • Support teams in using Agile tools and methods, contributing to the coordination of scrum activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for use in project planning and decision-making
  • Participate in cross-functional scrum meetings, learning how to drive communication and alignment between teams
  • Assist in developing and distributing training materials and guides for project tools and processes
  • Financial analysis support through creation of automation, reporting, and analysis
  • Assist senior project managers and teams in planning, tracking, and coordinating project tasks and deliverables
  • Assist in the creation of dashboards, data analysis, and reporting for stakeholders on project status, milestones, and performance metrics
  • Facilitate meetings and follow up on action items to ensure project progress
  • Organize and track project documentation, including meeting notes, timelines, reports, and change requests

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.) is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams and functions to meet project goals

The salary range for this role is 50,000 USD - 100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
