Program Manager, Marketing And Advertising
The Program Manager, Marketing and Advertising role is a full-time position supporting supplier and co-op marketing initiatives at Whole Foods Market (WFM), part of Amazon's World Wide Grocery organization. This position assists in planning, executing, and reporting supplier campaigns while collaborating across the Marketing organization, Merchandising, eCommerce, Marketing Analytics, and Accounting/Finance teams to deliver strong business results against supplier marketing goals. The role works directly with Whole Foods Market suppliers, helping them understand and strategize across available marketing and advertising opportunities to maximize their success within the Amazon ecosystem. This role will be in office five days a week based in Austin, TX.
Key job responsibilities:
- Partners closely with Merchandising, eCommerce, and Promotions marketing teams to execute supplier placements in supplier marketing programs.
- Ensures critical stakeholders are informed and have appropriate levels of influence over supplier campaign execution.
- Consolidates data from various reporting tools into supplier marketing dashboards and supplier-level reports.
- Regularly reports on supplier marketing and advertising challenges and opportunities to team leadership, surfacing trends and recommending process improvements.
- Generates supplier marketing post-execution reports with insights and facilitates supplier billing.
- Maintains supplier portal with supplier marketing resources and announcements.
- Manages the Supplier Marketing team inbox, providing information and answering questions of suppliers and internal stakeholders from Whole Foods Market and Amazon Ads teams.
- Manages detailed tasks and projects that include cost, scheduling, and resource requirements.
- Supports and occasionally leads presenting Supplier Marketing opportunities to suppliers and advises them on marketing investment opportunities to drive brand awareness and sales for supplier partners.

- Ability to translate quantitative and qualitative data into actionable strategies and plans, and inform future planning with objective insights, reporting and analytics.
- Knowledge and understanding of retail merchandising and store/ecommerce operations, and how these inputs can inform omnichannel strategies.
- Understanding of product data, data structures, and data management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- 3+ years of marketing experience with emphasis on physical retail marketing or partner marketing experience
- BA degree, or BS degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using integrated campaigns to solve brand/business challenges
- 1+ years of merchandising or planogram experience
- Experience and genuine interest in collaborative and integrated Supplier Marketing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $54,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $116,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
